Library Letters (Year 3)


Year 3 were learning how to write formal letters. They wrote letters to Mrs Clarkson, who is in charge of the library, with their suggestions.

Dear Mrs Clarkson

I am 7 years old and my name is Millie.

I am writing to inform you that the books are not being treated well by some of the people at school.

Also I suggest that we could have 2 tables, some beanbags, more chairs and cushions so every one doesn’t have to sit on the floor.
                       
It is my opinion that we could get more cats and dogs books because there are not any there. I am not very happy about the temperature.

I would like it if we could use the big books.

I am 7 years old. I go to Preston Primary School. I live in Hedon and my name is Hannah. I am writing to complain about the noise in the Library. It’s a disgrace. All your children are making a total racket. Put your Library into place, put some more seats into it, also a repair box in case any books have been torn and some more windows.

I am 7 years old.

I am writing to complain about the library. I would like to have more time in the library lesson. Could we have half an hour in the library choosing a book that is interesting, exciting and funny so we can read the words? Then the children would read their library book every night and read it over and over again. I also think that the children would change their book for another interesting and exciting book again.
